Christian Evangelism Mission (CEM)

Who Are We?

As God has shared with us in His word the Bible, we passionately desire everyone to have the freedom to connect with God through his Son, Jesus Christ. The most effective way to reach lost people with the good news is by starting New Restoration Movement Church Planting Churches. The Restoration Movement (RM) offers freedom not only for people to understand God’s great love for them based on the Bible, but many other freedoms as well. Churches are free to own their own property and buildings, and they are able to make the best decisions for the Kingdom in their local area. And our Churches are free to partner with other Churches or organizations to further God’s work around the world.

So why do we exist?

The population of Iowa is currently over three million people with only 125 RM Churches. Of the 99 counties in the state, there are 39 with no RM churches at all. We presently have 41 cities with a population of over 5,000 with no RM churches. In the past decade 25 of these 41 cities grew in population.

How are we to respond to such a need? You have to love what Jesus said to his followers about this Kingdom business: “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now those who reap draw their wages, even now they harvest the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.” John 4:34-36

Both sower and reaper get to celebrate together because God uses the hard work of BOTH to bring in the harvest. If you haven’t yet had a chance to join the work God has called CEM to do please consider joining us as a sower supporter. I can’t think of a better investment of your prayers and financial gifts.

You will love being glad together as so many have and are now experiencing as God combines the work of sower supporters and reaper church planters to bring about the harvest of new churches making an eternal difference.
